Aww, it’s been oh, so very long!!! I am sorry! I’ve had so much going on with my health since September. I’m not ready to get into it all right now, but maybe in the future or in little bits. Not sure what I’m comfortable with putting on the wide open web. I am healing and feel good right now. Please add a comment to this post or send me an email. (I added a contact form under the tab at the top of this blog.) I’d love to hear from you.
Truthfully, I haven’t been interested in my dolls and creating things for them over these past months, so many other things to worry about. It wasn’t until my website hosting expired two weeks ago that I started to miss all of this. Trying to find a new and affordable site for my small business (which I didn’t), then figuring out how to get my patterns for sale on Ravelry and posting about that on Facebook. Well, all the love and comments from that post and subsequent posts rekindled my love for creating and my dolls. I’ve missed you all very much!
First up is getting some unfinished patterns (finally) finished and published. I’ve gotten rusty at the process; there are quite a few steps, but I am trying. Adding to my brain being rusty, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop are barely working on my laptop. They’ve updated and are charging a subscription price now. *sigh*
I want to wish all of you a ‘lucky’ St. Paddy’s day! Here is my little Fairyland PukiPuki named Sugar looking as pixie-ish as she possibly could. (Photo from 2014)
Bye for now. ❤ Sending you hugs from me.
Dear Cindy,
I was thrilled to get this Email. I have been praying for you & concerned because it’s been a long time since you posted anything. I hope this spring, brings you many good things. The most important, being your health. You have been missed by many & I am sure that there are lots of your fans, excited this morning ,to be reading a Cindy post.
Warmest Regards & Prayers,

Thanks so much, Susan. I appreciate your words of encouragement. ❤
So happy that you are back and wish you happy spring. Have had you in my mind many times always with the thought that you were there with family working on gettting well. I also check the Chicago weather everyday and think of you. What a frigid winter for so many.
I wish you success in all of your endeavors. Little Sugar certainly made me smile today. 🙂
Happy spring to you, too, Joy. It’s been a long road healthwise–longer than anticipated, but I am taking it day-by-day. Yes, this winter was a doozy–bitter cold then ice storms then snow–crazy! It feels like we’re out of the woods, but you can never tell. Snow in April is a possibility around here. Thank you! ❤

It was so nice to see your email pop up! You have been in my thoughts and prayers these past few months. I pray that you have felt close to God and that He has provided you what you have needed. Continue to heal and grow. May God hold you in the palm of His hand (part of an Irish blessing, here on St. Patrick’s Day)!
Your kind words mean so much, Lynn. Yes, prayer has helped me, and is still helping me through this long journey. Thanks so much for your continued support and prayers. ❤
Hi Cindy, I have been thinking of you and was glad to hear from you. I myself have had a knee replacement and have not had a great time with my recovery because of my other health issues but we have to do the best that we can don’t we. Will keep you in my prayers. Can’t wait to see any new patterns. Londa

Hello Cindy and so good to hear from you! In retrospect, we are saddened to think of any burdening health issues that you have or are enduring. We ask that God hears and answers our prayers and heal you whole quickly. We are your caring support team. 🙏
Your support and prayers mean so much! It is hard to bear all this, but it has changed me for the better I’d like to think–a silver lining. I am hopeful that this life lesson will be coming to a close soon and that I will be able to get back to doing what I love to do. Thank you, Wanda. ❤

Hello Cindy, It was great to hear from you. I have missed receiving your updates. The journey back from ill health can take a long time and it is good to see that once again that spark has returned to you. My thoughts are with you.💖 While you have been away my life has started on another journey. For the whole of February I was at my father’s house getting it ready for sale. He died almost 32 years ago and ny stepmother died last August (aged 98yrs). It was a mentally and physical stressful month. Dad purchased the house in 1954 so there was 65 years of memories (and clutter) to sift through and dispose of. I found many things that belonged to Dad which was a bonus, also a couple of treasures that were my grandfather’s. I have a grandson who has an old sole and I have put together an aluminium box my father had made and filled it with the treasures from my father and grandfather. He is over the moon with his gifts. The house has now been sold. My sister and I are the main beneficiarys. With my share I will be able to purchase my own home. I am having a holiday on the coast at the moment and spending time with my daughter who lives near by. When I get back home I will start house hunting in earnest. My main criteria is a craft room, something that I have wanted for many years. To have my yarn and materials stash where I can locate them without having to sift through box after box when I want to use some of them. And of course all the other bits n pieces. And also to able to leave work in progress on the table. But just to have my own space, to be able to look after my home, to display the treasures that I found at Dad’s, to tend to my garden and smell the flowers. I was able to rescue an orchid which was one of Dad’s and had survived years if neglect since he died. I also got some cuttings from his 65 year old magnolia tree. I do hope that they strike and keep growing. It is a beautiful tree. Take care Cindy.🕊
Thank you for writing, Wendy. I hope you can find a beautiful home that gives you all the things that you are looking for. It sounds like you have so many mementos to hold dear from your dad and grandfather, and being able to display them would be perfect. Also, having a craft room for the first time will be amazing! I hope the magnolia cutting thrives at your new home. Take care, Wendy, and best wishes. ❤
I am happy to see your post, I was worried about you. I hope everything will work out okay for you and your family.
Hi, Anneke. Thank you for the well wishes and support. They are very appreciated. ❤
Dear Cindy,
It is sad when life’s challenges take over our love of the tiny things that bring us joy, and I am glad to see you have rekindled your love for your dolls and knitting! Sending you prayers and positive thoughts as you recover, take the time you need for YOU!
