Magical Christmas snow is what Patience is hoping for this year. There is most definitely something wonderful about having snow on Christmas, and when it’s actually falling on Christmas Eve, well, that’s that’s pure magic.
Patience is wearing a dress made out of a colorful snowflake and stars print: aqua, warm green, silver grey, and deep red. A deep red organza ribbon sash is the perfect accent color for this set.
Patience’s cardigan is knit Santa Claus style with “fur” trim at the neckline, sleeve cuffs, and hemline. I’ve used a favorite aqua heather merino lace yarn for the body, and mohair/silk lace for the trim.
Embellishing handwork in the form of embroidered snowflakes, “icy” (clear) seed beads, and vintage red bugle beads (they pick up the dots on the dress) decorate the sweater in the front as well as the back. Bright red glass beads button the cardigan, if desired.
Patience’s needle felted snowman is made by me out of wool roving. He wears a tiny hand knit (in the round) deep red (merino/silk yarn) elf hat with an aqua tassel. His scarf is aqua wool yarn looped around his neck. Seed beads are carefully sewn on to give this snowman the perfect face and buttons. Patience has named her snowman Magic because of magical Christmas snow, of course.
Patience’s other accessories include: a matching red organza ribbon bow hair tie, deep red rayon tights, and “minty” bracelet with a heart and snowflake dangle.
“Christmas Snow” will be available tonight (November 15, 2017) at 7:00 pm CST, cindyricedesigns.com.
Enjoy your day, my friends! ❤
