Amelia Christmas Dress and Hat Sets

With Thanksgiving about a week away the Christmas season is practically upon us!  I’ve made a couple more Christmas dress/hat sets for Amelia Thimble dolls.  This first set is called “Tiny Elf”.  Amelia is dressed and ready to help Santa with whatever tiny tasks he needs a hand with.  Her bell even jingles to add a bit of merriment to all of the work that needs to be done.

“Naturally Pretty” is the second set.  This dress is embroidered with beautiful flowers of the season.  A pink poinsettia, evergreen boughs, and berries are arranged in a pretty asymmetrical bouquet on Amelia’s dress.  Her hat has a large “fur trimmed” border and more embroidery.

Such a helpful little one Amelia Thimble is!  For more information on these sets please visit my website.

The New Girl

I’d like to introduce my new girl, a Fairyland Pukipuki doll named Sugar.  She is 11cm tall so is only 1 cm taller than Amelia Thimble, but has a wider body and limbs.  She is not as delicate by far.  Her hands and feet pop off and on very easily with the help of magnets.  This makes it so easy for dressing or even adding a bracelet, no clasp needed.  I stuck a metal lid underneath my white fabric that I use for photographing and she stood without any fiddling around.  Love her!!!

I just finished this dress for her.  I asked Sugar what she would like for her first dress and she told me, “Roses in lots of  pretty colors.”  I guess it’s because they’re as sweet as she is.  I love how her first dress turned out.  Because she is a wider doll I found more space for embroidering her special roses.

It didn’t take long for Sugar to find a special friend.

Fall Ensemble for Little Darling Dolls

Gina, my Effner Little Darling doll, is so excited to show you her brand new fall outfit.  It’s oh so colorful in it’s “not your typical” fall color palette.  Her favorite part of the ensemble is the striped knit wool hat to keep her cute little ears toasty and warm.  To see more pictures and for additional information on this outfit, please visit Cindy Rice Designs.
