Maybe it was because I was a July baby that made me love wearing red, white, and blue so much. When I look back at childhood photos I find so many summer pictures of me in these colors. I remember specifically asking for sailor dresses and red, white, and blue swimsuits. Honestly, I think I was obsessed.
Here are a couple of photos of me on my 2nd birthday and my 8th birthday wearing red, white, and blue sailor dresses. I loved ’em!
While this isn’t a sailor dress it is a red, white, and blue ensemble that my Little Darling, Gina, is modeling for you. I couldn’t pass this fabric up—red, white, and blue in my favorite theme, floral, no surprise there, right?

Hi Jevne and thank you. Gina’s wig is a Kemper Hannah mohair in light brown. It arrived in tighter curls than the photo. After a couple of years using it, the wig was getting messy so I curled it on big straws. You can see the evolution of this wig by going through my pics in chronological order. And that’s a princess phone you’re chatting on. That was the IPhone of the 60’s, 70s and 80s. I looked up princess phone on Wikipedia. According to them people complained that the phone was too light when it first came out. It didn’t have a ringer so they added a weight to make it heavier. Lol.
Hi Eva. I always thought it was a play phone that I got as a birthday gift, but now I am not sure. The only thing I’m sure about is that by the look on my face no one is at the other end. LOL. Thanks for the interesting info. on princess phones.
