Oh yes, I do love pink!
The magenta cotton thread in my stash looked so pretty with this print. What a great excuse to immerse myself in pink when creating this ensemble. Even though the other gorgeous colors were calling to me, I ignored them this time. And I must say I love the result. This ensemble is all girliness in its pinkiness.
Gina’s dress has an empire styled bodice, a little shorter than my other cropped bodices. The cropped cardigan’s length is perfect for this dress because it doesn’t overpower the print with too much bright color. The crocheted cap adds a romantic touch as do the crocheted ballet styled slipper shoes.
Other accessories include a ribbon wrapped bouquet, bracelet, and embroidered cotton panties.

Supposed to get to 102 today, but not there quite yet. Feels like a blast furnace when you open a window. Hopefully, this is the last day of the heat wave, then it should cool down. Dollies here are sitting around in their undies trying to stay cool.
Eww, yuck! I hope yesterday really was the last day, and today was better. I don’t know how you can stand it, really and truly. Thanks for commenting despite living in an oven. The dolls have it right–too hot for clothes.

It is so girly and I love it! The dress is too beautiful to do justice with words, so so pretty! The cardigan is just the right length and the cap is a nice touch too.
