Happy National Dog Day to all of our fur babies!
Right now mine is burrowed (chihuahuas love to burrow) under his super soft blanket on a super soft pillow. He’s had breakfast and some little treats, and now it’s time for a nap. What a life!
His new hangout is the bay window in the kitchen. He loves to snooze on his cheetah printed pillow. I love those tiny paws! I took this in the afternoon when the sunshine warmed up his “spot”.
Here are two of my favorite puppy shots from years ago. My tiny baby with my daughter from his first springtime. Gosh, he was all ears.
And, this was a shot in a lifetime. He only stayed on G’s back for a second, and this only happened once . . . ever.
I hope all of you puppy parents are enjoying the day with your cuddly fur babies.
Bye for now, my friends! ❤
It’s an anniversary too: “On Aug. 26, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, guaranteeing women the right to vote, was declared in effect.” from the New York Times. Let’s always value this and be sure to vote. My mother was five years old at that time.
Thank you, Susette. Yes, we need to remember this, and honor those women who fought for this right by always voting.
How could I have missed National Dog Day? And Susette’s women’s right to vote. Great things to remember.
Maybe it is Chi Day too. Hope so as yours is adorable.
Hi, Joy. My chi was a pampered pooch yesterday. But, then again, he always is. My baby says thank you for the compliment. ❤
