It is that time of year again!!! Hello everyone! I really am not sure how this time of year has come around again…so soon after it just recently ended. I am just now getting over the fact that summer is over and autumn has started. 😂 I think my brain has some catching up to do.
Anyway, I love the holiday season, and it is here, so I will of course embrace it. Does anyone know, though, how to alleviate the stress that comes with it? I have an idea, but I don’t think it would be too popular.
My Christmas doll for 2022 was a sweet Li’l Dreamer. Evianna arrived too late to get a holiday ensemble, so she was first on my list this year and she’d like to show you what she’ll be wearing this holiday season.
Evianna wanted a traditional ensemble–red, green, holly, mohair yarn. Nothing too fancy–just cozy and bright, so that is what I made for her. I love how all the tiny knitwear pieces came together: a capelet, headband ear warmer, scarf, and tiny fingerless mitts. As soon as everyone else is ready Evianna will accompany them throughout the village singing Christmas carols. Oh, what fun that will be!

My Evianna would like to know if you have one of her Li’l Dreamer sisters at your house. She is an ‘only’ here, but she has older sisters and a younger sister–all designed by Dianna Effner, of course.
I’m going to say ‘bye’ for now–still have things to get done today–and it is already 3:30pm. Savor the weekend, and enjoy!

Love Eviana’s outfit. Perfect for her caroling adventure. I finally caved and bought one of the Li’l Dreamers. However, she won’t be arriving until the end of December, if we’re lucky. She is Jovi, hope I spelled it correctly, and has dark hair and brown eyes. I just couldn’t resist. 🙂
Curious, but what size shoes do the Dreamers take? Any other dolls with that size or clothes for that matter?
Hello, Joy and thank you! Jovi is cute–love her little smile and brown eyes. I wish she’d arrive in time for Christmas… she is all dressed and ready.
Evianna is wearing Boneka 45×23 wide sized shoes. She also fits in a Monique 48×20 (measured the sole). I think I purchased the Boneka for Penny Macario and the Monique shoes are Bethany Kish’s. Both fit with tights that I’ve made. I think the Li’l Dreamers are close to Bethany sized, but with a shorter torso. I found a dress that belonged to no-one and worked from there when I started sewing for her. It wasn’t too hard to get things to fit her right. Can’t wait to here how you like Jovi…

Thank you so much for the information. I did look at the Effner site and bought a pair of shoes there, but now I’m looking for Bethany Kish size and pattern as well.
