Izzy is “All Dressed Up”

And… she has places to go.  Lots of visiting with her friends, that is.  Izzy is such a social butterfly.

And here she is snuggling up with Sugar on Bella’s lap.  Denver Doll Emporium has a Pukipuki Sugar available just in case anyone would like their own little sweetie pie.

I found this thin rayon jacquard ribbon at Vogue Fabrics last spring.  It is the perfect band for these tiny hats, don’t you think?  For more information on this set please visit my website.

New Dresses to Welcome Spring

Yeah!  It is officially spring.  We made it through the worst winter in recent memory.  I am so, so excited for warm air, spring breezes, flowers, and lots of sunshine.

To celebrate spring I’ve made five new dresses for Amelia Thimble and Izzy.  Each is knit with hand dyed fine lace weight baby alpaca/silk in the palest shades of pure color, no neutrals here.  Each dress has a different type of hat/headband.  I’ve left one without for those little girls with a hairstyle not suitable for hats.  And, of course, colorful floral hand embroidery adorns each dress.

I hope you enjoy the dresses and the new season.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day

No, I don’t have a speck of Irish heritage in me and I look awful in the color green, but I couldn’t help but get into the Irish spirit this year.  My Pukipuki, Sugar, is here to spread St. Paddy’s Day joy to you all.  By the way, I think she looks beautiful in the color green.

This past week I spent quite a bit of time learning some new techniques and discovering some new sites.  I practiced a new lace pattern, discovered Craftsy, listened to a new knitting podcast, and perused Ravelry and Pinterest for knitting inspiration.  As a result, I found this adorable Blythe hat pattern from Maggie at Parasol Doll and knit up my version for Pukipuki.  Thank you, Maggie.

Sugar wanted to wear her new outfit while looking for all things lucky and Irish.  My little charmer found her own lucky charm.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
