Just finished for Tonner’s Patsy Doll

Here are some sneak peaks of Patsy’s new outfit.  In keeping with Patsy’s 1920’s style, this very feminine and colorful outfit has lots of hand embroidered details.  Flower motifs to coordinate with the cotton Japanese print line up along the hemline.    Each one is unique.  Chain stitch embroidery and running stitch embroidery are more hand embroidered elements of this dress.  The hand knit cotton bolero has a turned back collar with embroidered roses and light blue scalloped edging.  Patsy’s hat is decorated with chain stitch embroidery along the edge and a crocheted flower and knit bow.  I’d say Patsy is all ready for her next spring weekend adventure.

A Peek At Some New Things From the Past Week

Just wanted to give you a tiny glimpse of what I’ve been working on this week.  I have a new 7-piece ensemble for the Little Darlings and for the slightly smaller girls (Patsy, Ann Estelle, Bethany, and Remy/Pia and other dolls of similar size) a hand knit and rose embroidered sweater.  The sweater is on the neutral pastel side to match many outfits.  I will be putting them both on eBay Sunday evening.

I like to embroider a little something on the inside lining of my doll dresses.  It’s like a little secret nicety that only the doll and her owner know about.  Here are some of those little embroidery designs that I completed on my skirt linings in 2012.
