A Couple of Work-in-Progress Photos

Hi there! I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but not much creating going on with me lately. Life has pulled me away from my studio for a bit as I’ve been needed elsewhere. I’ve been getting a little knitting and embroidering done in the last couple of weeks, but don’t have anything completed to show you, sorry. Here’s a photo of a sweater dress for the Little Darlings that I managed to get made. I still have the other pieces of this ensemble to work on, but you can get an idea anyway. I hope to have it all finished next week.

Oh, I forgot to show you this little dress I made for my Fairyland Pukipuki, Sugar, a couple of weeks ago. It is knit with a lace weight tonal alpaca/silk, very soft. This too, will probably be for sale sometime next week.

Puki’s White Christmas

Here is the first of my winter white sweater dresses. Sugar wanted to go first, so I told her that would be fine if it was okay with the others, and it was.

Sugar’s dress is hand knit with off white merino lace yarn. The “fur” trim is knit with mohair/silk lace. Her little embroidered Christmas motif is of holly and greens placed asymmetrically at the waistline.

Sugar is wearing white lace tights too.

What a ham she is!

Little Fairyland’s Pukipuki Sugar is here to help with the holiday preparations in any way that she is able, even if it’s just standing around looking cute. BTW, she does that really well, don’t you thin?

Her Christmas set is knit with hand dyed merino lace weight yarn. It photographed brighter and pinker than it actually is, it is a muted berry color. The “fur” trim is knit with mohair/silk lace yarn. I attached little strips of magnets to the back side of the plastic holly charm, so Sugar can hold on to it.
