More Doll Sweater Embroidery

Image  Image   Image

Here is a peek at a doll sweater I just finished for Tonner’s new Patsy doll.  It is knit with Knit Pick’s Aloft.  Aloft is a very soft lace weight super kid mohair and silk blend yarn.  It produces a sweater that’s as light and fluffy as a cloud.  This sweater has seed beads knitted in the sweater in a linear art deco design on the front, back and the sleeves.  Floral embroidery further embellishes this sweater.

The pattern to make this sweater is now available for download on the Free Pattern page.  See link at top of this page.  For this sweater I used Wool of the Andes sport weight yarn in rouge from Knit Picks.  The buttons are metal in a gunmetal color and are upcycled from a girls’ top.

Remy, a BJD by Pamela Macy

I just wanted to share a picture of this cutie pie with you.  She arrived this week and I am so thrilled with her.  Her face (well, you can’t help but fall in love with her) is that of a sweet little angel.  Remy is 11″ tall which is the same size as Pamela’s last doll, Pia, and is made in the USA out of resin.  Here is Pamela’s website.
