Half a dozen Amelia Thimble knit dress sets are hot off my knitting needles. They are so tiny that all 12 pieces fit in the palm of my hand. I thought they looked cute all bunched together and wanted to share a picture. Now for the time consuming part, making them all extra special with hand embroidery.
Here are the dresses and hats on my blocking board. They get dampened with water and then pinned down to get rid of that curling you see in the picture above. Once they are dry the dresses and hat are nice and curl free.
I love the colors, and seeing them all in a row – too cute!
Thank you. This is the most I’ve ever done at once. I kept telling myself “one more” and I ended up with 6 sets. 🙂
I cannot wait to see the gorgeous embroidery on these delightful sets. How long does do leave them stretched like that? Best wishes, Carina
Hi Carina,
I leave them on my blocking board overnight or for most of the day. I like to make sure that they are very dry before removing the pins. The dresses really aren’t stretched too much except to get everything squared up and even. Thanks for your comment.
