My Ruby Red Fashion Friend Holiday Stella (renamed Holly) has a new holiday ensemble to show you. If you missed the post about my Christmas doll you can read about her here.
Stella has a lilac-y skin tone that looks nice with a lot of the colors I sew with. I appreciate how the Ruby Red Fashion Friends have many different skin tones–just like us humans. BTW, does anyone know how many different skin tones Ruby Red makes for these dolls?
Last year I made Bella a holiday ensemble in a different color way with the same print. They will look adorable together. You can see that post here. I will take their photo together and show you how they look next to each other.
Holly’s hand knit cardigan was made holding two strands of lace weight yarn together. The end result picks up the greens in the dress very nicely. I embroidered two different floral motifs at the neckline. The red crystal bead buttons add the perfect sparkly touch.
Here is a full length view of precious Holly in her new ensemble.
I hope your December is going nicely. It’s flying by for me–I still have lots to do. How about you? Are you finished with holiday gift buying, etc.?
Holly and I would like to wish you Happy Holidays. 🎄🤶🏻
What a perfect outfit for Holly. That beautiful sweater with the two tones is lovely with her dress. Really brings out the color of her eyes too. 🙂
Well, we have most gifts for the grands except for the soccer goal arriving soon. Not sure how we’re going to wrap that. 🙂 I did pick up a RRFF girl Charlotte for middle grand. Hoping to finish a Christmas dress for her in time.
Our northern CA weather has been so cold. Frost in the mornings. Our heating bill is going to be sky high. Ugh.
Hope you have a wonderful holiday with family and friends. 🙂
Hi, Joy! Thank you! Holly seems quite happy with it. I think this is the only Christmas ensemble I will complete this year. Where does the time go?
Charlotte is a beautiful doll. I am sure you granddaughter will be smitten with her. And, to have a brand new dress for her made by you is icing on the cake. You’ll have to work on a whole new wardrobe eventually, right?
Not sure how you will wrap a soccer goal either. Hmmm… Maybe that will have to hide in another room until the reveal?
Brrr for you. You don’t normally have such cold temps, do you? We’ve been warmer than usual. That winter storm that just went through gave us only rain. We’ve been dark and dreary. Today is day 13 without the sun.
Happy holidays, Joy🎄 Thank you for writing❤️
Cindy, I love this! The print is Christmas but in an unexpected floral. The embroidery on the sweater ties it all together. Thanks for sharing your latest creation.
Thank you, Debra. Happy holidays to you and your family! ❤️
Holly looks beautiful in her new Christmas ensemble. I will be knitting some of your new sweaters after the Christmas rush is over. Can’t wait to get back to it!
Thank you, Jean. Happy knitting in the new year, and thanks so much for knitting from my patterns.❤️ Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄
Gorgeous Ensemble as always!
Thanks so much, Sharon. Happy holiday to you and yours.❤️
