Once again, Patience is here wishing you all a Happy Valentine’s Day! Her new outfit is cute and colorful and in a warm color palette this time around. I’m a sucker for cute cotton prints. This one is especially fun because it has so many cute motifs to look at. And…who doesn’t love hearts this time of year???!!!

Patience is so happy to have a Valentine’s Day ensemble to model for you. Isn’t she “LOVE”ly in it? This festive outfit features all of the requisite Valentine’s Day colors, shades of red and pink, and ivory. Delicate English cotton cluny lace decorates the hemline. There are lots of hand embroidered hearts in this outfit, the crocheted headband alone has a dozen. To get all of the pieces to coordinate to my liking I hand dyed (and custom mixed most dyes) the silk ribbon, Peruvian Highland wool for the sweater, cotton fabric to match the heart print’s background, and cotton Lycra for the tights.
Patience’s little bracelet is made with freshwater pearls. Here’s a close up of the lace, isn’t it delicate?
A dozen hearts in five different shades are embroidered on Patience’s headband. A “corsage” of hearts adorns her shoulder.

Patience & Izzy (both dolls are from Wilde Imagination, Izzy is Amelia Thimble’s friend) are starting to feel the holiday spirit. Well, who couldn’t feel the spirit dressed in such festive ensembles?
Izzy arrived last week and immediately fit into the family. She feels so special to share Patience’s hair color and style. Izzy says they are like real sisters. Now to keep Amelia from getting jealous…
We even had a little snow yesterday for the photo shoot.
I took these photos through one of our tall windows which is right next to the fireplace so even though it looks so cold outside we are warm inside with a fire going.
