It’s Christmas Eve!

I hope you all are having a beautiful Christmas so far.  My little family is all together and we are enjoying each other’s company.  Right now my husband and daughter are making a pizza for dinner while I am writing a quick blog post to all of you.

I took a few photos of our Christmas tree and some of the ornaments hanging on our tree.  They are always so pretty and magical with the Christmas tree lights hitting them.

This is my favorite cross stitch ornaments.  I designed and made it for the 1999 Just Cross Stitch’s Christmas Ornament issue.  I remember being thrilled when I saw my ornament as one of the cover ornaments.

We have many vintage glass ornaments that have been in the family.

My husband brought back the Royal tara china snowman from Galway City, Ireland two decade ago.  I have a Santa too; they are special to me.

And our little tree that sits on the vintage drum table in our living room.  I have a lot of my mom and grandma’s ornaments on this tree.  My grandma loved pink ornaments!

Pizza is done!  It smells delicious!

I wish you all a magical Christmas!  Anyone else having a Christmas Eve pizza?

Bye for now!

Lovely post. We just made quesadillas for dinner. Love your striped ornament. I have the same. 🙂 If I am so inclined, I would love to send you a pic of our vintage ornaments. So happy you have your family at home for the holiday. We’re heading to see the grands tomorrow. Only 1 1/12 to drive. The little ones are always excited to see us arrive as they know we bring more presents. Food too. Ha ha.
    Have a wonderful holiday!!

Merry Christmas, Joy! Hope your day is proving to be filled with laughter and fun. Your little grandchildren must make the day absolutely magical. Even though we are all grown ups here Santa did fill our stockings with yummy things. We’ve finished gift opening and now have a spinach lasagna in the oven.

Your Christmas tree is beautiful and I love all the ornaments!
We had a beautiful Christmas with our daughter and her friend! The stayed a few days, it was great!
Our cat Cookie played with the balls and the tree felt to the ground…a lot of decorations were broken.
    Have a good day!
I hope that your daughter is still at home!

Thank you, Catherine. I am happy you had a beautiful Christmas with your daughter. The time flies by so quickly, doesn’t it? Oh my, sorry about your tree and ornaments. Your cat, Cookie, is quite energetic. Most universities in the US have long winter breaks during Christmas, so she will be home for a few more weeks. ❤
