Winter Snowflakes

Do you have any snowflakes yet? We don’t have any real snowflakes in northern Illinois. In fact it just got cold enough to produce snow, not rain. I am sure it won’t be long now and we will be enjoying the quiet beauty of a winter wonderland.

To celebrate the start of winter Talyssa has a new ensemble to show you reminiscent of an icy paradise where she is the princess. Her dress is made with a cotton print in violet-ish colored snowflakes. Snowflake embroidery, crystals, pearls, a silver snowflake charm, a glittery ornament, muted shades of color (or no color) make Talyssa’s new outfit perfect to help welcome winter.

Hugs for Rudolph

I grew up watching Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer every year at Christmas time. It was my favorite Christmas special. I must confess that I still enjoy watching it. In those days there were no DVDs or even video tapes to be purchased so the show couldn’t be missed when it was broadcast on television. We only had one chance a year to see Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer and we made sure to watch it. It’s great that this classic is still so popular today.

My Talyssa cannot wait to watch Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer for the first time. Her excitement is contagious. I made Talyssa a very special dress out of a Rudolph and Clarice cotton print and she just loves it. What little girl wouldn’t be thrilled with two of her favorite reindeer on a Christmas dress made especially for her? I found a stuffed deer miniature in my props drawer and wanted to turn him into Rudolph for Talyssa. I think she likes him, don’t you?

Do You Want to Build a Snowman?

I do. I do. And my Little Darling, Gina, does too.

While we are waiting for the snow to fall Gina has a new ensemble to show you. This little snowmen printed dress is helping us get into the snowman building spirit. Look at all of those adorable snowmen! To go with her snowmen dress are hand knitted accessories. A capelet, Santa hat, duo of scarves, mitts, and boot toppers keep Gina all warm and toasty.
