Don’t get me wrong. I enjoyed the coziness of being indoors on Sunday while the fluffy white stuff piled up outside. It was truly beautiful. Now it is just so hard to get around with all of the icy piles everywhere. In a strange way it feels like winter just started. Boo Hoo!
Anyway, I couldn’t help myself. I had to make something that hints at springtime. Creating this ensemble for Talyssa helped me forget what is outside (for awhile) and think about sweetly scented springtime blossoms.
I know that it’s just a wish for now. But, maybe wishing will make a warm breeze start to blow, the sun will come out and the snow will start to melt. I yearn for spring. Do you too?

Hi Dorinda. One of my favorite things about spring is the daily checking to see what new things are coming up in the gardens and what trees are in bloom. The innocence of spring is so fleeting with the arrival of pests, and dry spells, weeds. Thanks for commenting.
This is a very sweet and yes, spring-like outfit for Talyssa! I’m hoping for warmer weather soon too….I’m such a wimp when it comes to the cold … and we’re not even talking REAL cold here LOL.

Talyssa’s dress and sweater set is so adorable. I’m assuming this is the sweater you were working on in a few posts back? It is so cute! I love the embroidery work on it and the little crystal buttons. She looks so sweet in it even down to her hair flower! I am ready for Spring TOO! We don’t have snow right now, but it’s just so cold! Me and zero degree windchill factors don’t mix so well.
I haven’t forgotten about asking you some questions… just a lot on my plate this week and next Thursday is our big Married Couple’s Valentine party that I’m in charge of. As soon as this birthday party tomorrow night and then Thursday get past, I’ll be a new woman!
