My Linda Macario’s Penny has a brand new ensemble to show you. This teeny tiny peach rose print on a pastel yellow background looked perfect with Penny’s coloring, so this little 8-1/2″ (22 cm) imp was the lucky recipient of an outfit made with this fabric.
Penny’s “light as a feather” tiny sweater is hand knit with mohair/silk lace yarn. I dyed it light peach to pick up the pretty peach roses in the dress’s print.
I thought a little beret would look cute on this little one, and it does. Penny’s beret is hand knit with natural colored merino lace yarn. A peach silk bow, wool felt embroidered leaf, and rose charm add embellishment to the beret.
Penny says, “Thank you so much for visiting!”
“Peaches and Cream” will be available tonight at 7:00 pm, CST. Check my “Shop What’s New” page at cindyricedesigns.com.
Oh my gosh, this cannot be any more adorable, Cindy!
Hello Sonia, Thanks so much… Penny is blushing like crazy!
What an adorable little cupcake! This outfit is a winner for sure. The little beret goes perfectly with the lovely fabric. I thought her blue eye color couldn’t be matched, but the light green are wonderful on her. You’ve probably told us before, but where do you purchase the eyes? Glass or acrylic? I’m very new to this and have never changed out eyes prior. Amazing how you can get so many great looks for Penny.
Hi Joy,
First, thank you for being so thoughtful, you’re so sweet to send a card. ❤ What a surprise that was!
Thank you for the compliments on Penny's new ensemble. Penny's eyes are by Eyeco. They are called glass, but are made with silicone; they are flexible and half round. I think they are very easy to place, but little fuzzies will stick to them as they are rubbery, so a bit of tape used like a lint roller may be needed. I prefer the lighter colors as the darkest (ebony) looked a bit cloudy to me. Penny wears the 15 mm (same as my Gracie and Talyssa) and these green eyes are the Cypress color. The blue violet eyes are called Lady Blue. The light blue were being worn by my Bo Bergemann doll when she arrived, so I don't have a box with the name. They are probably Morning Sky, but not 100% sure. I also have the Caramel color which is a nice golden brown. I don't think Penny has tried those on yet. Here's the link. https://eyecoltd.com/platinum.php
Hope you're having a nice morning, Joy!
Oh how fun! Never heard of the silicone. So many choices. Thank you for the link. That golden brown sounds interesting too.
What a beautiful little Penny! Her new ensemble is so sweet! I admire your refined work.
Have a good afternoon.
I think of you.

Hello Catherine,
Thank you. I am enjoying Penny– she is a cute little model. I hope you are having a beautiful Wednesday.
HI Cindy,
Well, I’m out of satellite data till Thursday and have tried 3 times today to get your pictures to open up but they just won’t, so I’m going to comment “anyway” without even seeing them, as I’m sure they are adorable.
Penny is very blessed to have someone like you make sweet little creations for her..in the teeniest of sizes. The smaller they are the cuter they usually are. I’m sure her little sweater is adorable…
Oh my goodness, your pictures finally popped open!!! Oh Cindy, what a knock out set this is… that little sweater is absolutely the cutest thing ever and I love the expression on Penny’s face.
You got it right when you called her an imp and you got it right too, about her coloring. This is a perfect match to her skin. She is such a little cutie pie. I’m so glad I finally got to see the pictures. Somebody is doing the happy dolly dance tonight!
Blessings to you Cindy,
~ Jeanne
Penny is quite photogenic, and she is a sturdy little thing–NEVER falls over which makes it extra nice to photograph her. Thank you for the compliments on her new outfit; I’m glad you were finally able to see the pictures. I’ll bet you’ll be happy on Thursday when you’re data allowance is reloaded. Hope your spring is looking more springlike too.
