After seeing Talyssa in this golden yellow ensemble I pronounced her to be my golden girl because she looks beautiful in golden yellows. Fair skinned Talyssa has a beautiful ivory skin tone that definitely prefers certain colors and I think that this is one of them.
This is Talyssa’s first ruffled skirt. I think it fits Talyssa’s personality nicely; she is such a girly girl.
This is my last color to use of my vintage pillowcase looking fabric. You can see the other sets I made with this print in the other colorways here, here, here. I still have a bit more of each, so hopefully can make (at least) one more dress in each color.

Hi Cindy,
Yes, I think Talyssa is most definitely your Golden Girl and she looks so cute in this dress set. You once again matched up the little bullion flowers on her sweater perfectly!
Very sweet Cindy!
Blessings, Jeanne
Aww, thanks Jeanne. Would you believe I once had to dye my embroidery thread because DMC didn’t have the right shade of blue? Their 400+ colors have been enough every time other than that one.
Angelic. Her little sweater motifs perfectly aligned to become one with the dress. Ruffles do suit her.. They complement her curly locks and tendrils,,, and her lashes; where on earth? It all works so nicely together; Cindy. Your work is always fresh and surprising. Your knitting, embroidering, your styling and photography. Your close attention to such minute details and your sense of fairness, showing no favoritism. You must be a superhero or something?
Hi Marina,
All of Kaye’s dolls come with lashes like these. They help give Talyssa that innocent look when she’s looking up at me. She is such a sweetheart. Thank you for your comments on her newest outfit.
Sweetest !
Thank you for your comment, Sonia. I really enjoy Kaye’s dolls.
They definitely are beautiful. I think their wigs and your styling of them put your dolls over the top– make them more human- and less doll-looking. Talyssa is an amazing example– exquisite face, eyes, lips… but the voluminous platinum locks make her transcendent. Awesome and lovely work, Cindy. Inspired.
It really is fun styling them in different clothing and then finding the perfect wig and eye color. Ball jointed dolls are great for doing that, endless possibilities. Thanks, Marina!
