Is it Too Early?

To be thinking about creating Christmas ensembles???  Well, I’ve been thinking about them since July, and now it’s time to start acting on all of that thinking.  Yes, Christmas is months away, but I need time, lots of time!

Christmas outfits are my very favorite and I never get as many done as I’d like to, so I am starting EARLY this year.  You may think, way too early, and you may be right, but I am already in the mood for red and green, Santa hats and Christmas fabric, embroidered holly, fluffy white mohair yarn that looks like snow…

IMG_2025Here are some pieces of my Christmas fabric.  Some of it is new this year, some I never got to last year, and some got made into ensembles last year.  Here are some photos of those ensembles from last year.

Hello, Cath. Thank you so very much. Your English is very easy to understand. My daughter is in her 4th year of learning your language. I often ask her for translating help. I love the sound of your native language, so beautiful.

Loved seeing your beautiful fabric prints, and the sweet outfits. Wait, I haven’t even made a Halloween outfit yet! I’m way behind.

Hi Joy, Sometimes I pick which holidays to make things for, just don’t have time for everything. I only made three of the tiny dress sets that are sort of Halloween-ish, that’s it. You still have lots of time. I am starting extra early on Christmas because I want to get lots made this year. Thanks for the compliment on my work. 🙂

I’m afraid so— love all your bells and bows and reindeer and fluffy white mohair. I really like your long-tailed elf caps… perfection.

Hi Marina, Thank so much. Christmas outfits are so much fun to make and they get me into the holiday spirit. When Christmas arrives this year I’ll have been in the holiday spirit for 3+ months! LOL
