Growing up I loved anything grape flavored: lollipops (or suckers, as we called them), grape soda (Grape Crush was the best), popsicles, Kool-Aid. I even liked the grape flavored cough medicine. I must have over dosed on artificial grape flavoring and purple coloring over and over again; we had no idea back then that it might not be good for us. My mom did limit our sugar consumption, so that, at least was a good thing.
Why am I talking about grape? Well, this yarn that I used to knit Millie’s new sweater dress reminded me so much of all things flavored grape and I didn’t need to consume anything potentially bad for me in the process. It is a gorgeous purple heather: hot pink, raspberry, navy blue, and tints of purple make up this most dimensional yarn. Even though I loved this yarn on its own, when I added the vibrant colors of embroidery this yarn came alive.
Millie’e eyes are Glib in slate blue. In real life they look like they look puple-ish when paired with this dress. You can find them here. I cannot say enough about how much I love this wig on Millie. You can find it here. Millie wears a 6-7 wig and this one is in pale pale blonde.
Millie’s short sleeved wool sweater dress nips in at the waist and then has a slight flair to the skirt. It is shorter in length to look cute paired with tights. These tights are in a light weight raspberry heather cotton knit; I love it when I find the perfect color in my stash.

Bye for now!
Beautiful Millie with her wig and her dress! Purple is my favourite colour!
Have a good day!
Warm regards.
Hi Catherine and thanks so much. I love purple too. I don’t think that there’s a shade or tint of purple that I don’t like. Glad you liked Millie’s new photos.
Her dress is gorgeous! Speaking of grape, I’m trying to find a home for this grape shaped pot! Do you know anyone? https://www.etsy.com/listing/250673463/vintage-grape-shaped-pot?ref=shop_home_active_3
Thank you, Bex. Cute little vintage pot (or cookie jar). I’m sure someone will see it and snatch it up.
