I think Sugar looks like the perfect little lady in her new dress/hat set. She’s all in lilac and pink with a white brimmed hat to keep the spring sun out of her eyes.
Sugar told me that she liked being a little lady as long as ladies were allowed to play with their pet bunnies. “But, of course,” I told her.
Oh, the joys of a macro lens… I got a close up of the flowers on Sugar’s hat. Ivory Delica beads are sewn into a cluster on the lilac flower and a larger bead is sewn onto each of the small pink blossoms.

Believe it or not, our lilac tree is blooming. It is the darker color. Must be 15 feet high. Roses are out too. Just way too many weeds with the rain we have had this winter. Not complaining though.
Thank you, Joy. I LOVE lilacs, reminds me of childhood. We have one darker lilac too, they’re kind of a deep red violet color, so pretty. The rest of our lilacs are the basic color. I love them all! And, you have roses!!! The weed I can do without… After yesterday’s snow everything is white again. 😦 Thanks for the mental pictures you gave me of spring, there’s hope.

Thank you. Lilac, plums, and purples are a favorite of mine. We are cold too. We had a bit of snow yesterday and now everything is white again, and wintry. 😦

Sugar certainly looks sweet in her knitted dress and she’s got such big expressive eyes as she models…must be that little bunny doing it! I love the hat this time… with the stiffer brim and the little flowers sewn on. Another winner!
I can’t believe it’s Easter in 3 days…I most definitely didn’t get enough dresses made! :o(

Thank you! I can’t say that I got any Easter-y things made, nothing specific other than using a bunny as a prop. lol! Time goes so fast… I should start on Christmas soon. Sugar is quite fun to pose. She is very cooperative, not like that “other one” who constantly falls over. Enjoy this day, Jeanne.
