The fabric that I used to make Talyssa’s new dress is pure fun and sunshine. Even the fabric has a fun name—Posy Swirl. When I saw it, I knew immediately that I wanted to use it to create an ensemble for one of my girls (dolls). I had my youthful and sweet Talyssa in mind right from the start. When I showed her the fabric, she did indeed love it too.
Talyssa’s cardigan is embroidered with bullion stitched tulips and daisy-like flowers to coordinate with the dress. Her three crocheted flower ties range from light pink to deep magenta. They can be arranged in endless ways and one can even be tied around Talyssa’s bouquet, if you so wish.
This sweater really brings out the green in Talyssa’s eyes.
Oh, Talyssa, you have the sweetest face!

What a beautiful set! I love green and pink together!
Have a nice week-end!
Hi Catherine. Thank you. Pink and green are so girly and fun, aren’t they? Hope you’re having a great weekend as well!
Love, love, love the way you pose your little models. So very lifelike.
Talyssa poses so well and can stand nicely on her own. Kaye Wiggs did a fantastic job sculpting her BJDs. Thanks, Marina, for your comments.
You’ve created another winner for Talyssa again! It is so cute…it’s no wonder you bought this fabric. It’s very very pretty and I love how you paired it with the green. Most people would have probably complimented it with one of pinks or raspberry colors for the sweater, but I love the bold pop of the green for it and I like the tiny pink ball buttons it closes with. The little spray of embroidered flowers is just perfect on the bodice of it. I think it is so little girlish… very sweet. All the extra details make this a home run…the hair flowers, her jewelry, her socks! Very well done Cindy!
Hi Jeanne. Thank you for your much appreciated and sweet comments! I found out that this ensemble will be worn by a dark skinned Talyssa who I think will be the perfect model for these bright colors.
Hope you’re enjoying the weekend, Jeanne!
