A Busy, and Sad Weekend

This weekend was the fall play performance weekend at my daughter’s high school.  Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were performance days, so there wasn’t time for much else.  I dropped my daughter off Friday afternoon and had a couple of hours before the evening performance started.  I went to the local bookstore and had a cappuccino and worked on Millie’s new sweater dress.  It’s in such a pretty pale aqua-y blue heathered wool.

11-13-15 2209Upon entering the auditorium on Saturday night (and Sunday afternoon) this is what we saw projected onto the stage curtain.  Before the performances began we all took a few moments to pray for all those affected by this horrible act of terrorism.  There aren’t words, except to say that I pray for all of you.

Thank you so much for your thoughts.
The weekend was horrible and I think of all the people in mourning and grief.
It’s hard to realize what happened.
I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your daughter.
    Friendly yours.

From California, I don’t know anyone, friends or family who have not had thoughts and feelings for the country of France these past few days.

Countries are trying to help the refugees, by allowing them to enter into their Country, but some of them, who have entered, were terrorists. So, how do you control this kind of thing? It is almost impossible, to screen, everyone who is entering. It is very sad and disappointing. Terrorism affects all of us. no matter what Country we live in. I hope that the World Leaders can come up with a solution, but I know that that will be very difficult. God Bless Them!

I know, Sonia. Those poor people… I feel for them, they want their families to be safe, something we all want.
Terrorism can happen anywhere, no country is completely safe. It seems like we all need to pray for peace; that is something we have complete control over. ❤️
