Well, we have instant coffee and pudding, instant messaging, and now instant winter… for us in northern Illinois anyway. Yesterday it was over a foot of snow and this morning it is 10℉ (-12℃), so it is definitely wintry out there.
Oh, what fun!!! No, not really… The only GREAT thing is that by the end of the week it will be in the 50s again! Yay!
As the sun was coming up, I took some icy looking pictures. Can you feel how cold it is?
Tonight (7:00 pm, CST) I will have “Snowmen and Candy Canes” available on my website. It’s only fitting, don’t you think? Here’s a sneak peak.
So, who do you think models it better, Lucy (top) or Gina?
Bye for now! I’ll be back later with the post for this ensemble. Have a great day!
They both llook adorable in the snowman and candy cane set. And after admiring both several times, Lucy is my favorite by a just tiny bit. I think its those carrot color braids.
As always, impeccable knitting.
Thanks, Wanda. Lucy’s warm smile kind of steals your heart, doesn’t it?
Both!!!!
Hi Anna,
It’s IS hard to decide! Thank you.
Lucy is my fave…and I want your snow. I’m a transplanted Michiganer living in North Carolina and it’s hard to only see snow once in a while…guess I’ll just have to enjoy your pictures which are lovely.
Thanks, Jane. I wish I could send you some. We have LOTS more than we’ll ever need. Glad you liked my photos anyway. You can see the beauty without living with it. I’d probably miss the snow too, but it would probably take a few years.
Both wonderful. 💕
Living in the south of France…Sun still shining ☀️
Bon courage !!! ❄️
Thank you, Mirandoline. Lucky you to still have it warm and sunny. We will be warming up too this week, thank goodness.
Beautiful photos of the snow! I think both of your girls look adorable in the ensemble.
Thank you, Regina. From now on it will be hard deciding who gets to model what, but it’s a problem I don’t mind having. 🙂
Yes, I feel how cold it is, I’m very sensitive for the cold! But your photos are wonderful!
Both are very adorable in the set! Lucy looks very shy.
Have a good afternoon! Here it is already dark!
Hi Catherine,
I’m glad you could see how cold it is without having to actually feel it. It is no fun! I had to go out today and i was so careful walking on the ice, so slippery. Lucy might look shy, but she isn’t at all; she’s always smiling and chattering away. LOL
Love your pictures of the snow. It had the nerve to be 87 degrees here in Southern California yesterday. We could use a little snow in the mountains, 70 miles inland. Lucy is the happiest, sweetest doll I have ever seen. I really enjoy your Blog and pictures of the changing seasons. Thanks for posting them. Your tiny dresses and sweaters are amazing!
Hello Susette and thank you. Wow you are hot! I would have sent you some snow in exchange for some of your degrees; 20 or 30 more degrees would have been perfect today. Wish it worked like that…
I am so very happy with Lucy, love her! So glad you enjoy my blog too, thank you for letting me know. I appreciate it! 🙂
Love Lucy as a red head! Both girls look great in the new outfit.
Love the fresh snow pics with today’s blue sky. I think the birds are a bit happier today.
Hi Joy,
I was convinced that Lucy needed to be a redhead, but she looks cute in Gina’s brunette bob too. Who knew? These dolls are so much fun and so cute. I think the birds enjoy the sun more than the storm too, I know I do.
