My Snow Village this Year (2015)

I’ve mentioned my Snow Village in a couple of previous posts a little here and showed you Amelia Thimble posing in it here.

Here is a photo of the complete set up.  My husband did the entire display this year.  Didn’t he do a great job?!  As you can see, I don’t have too many pieces, just enough to make it look complete yet manageable, I think.

My husband placed an old bi-fold closet door on top of a desk to make a base which is the perfect size for all of my pieces.

The church on the left is one that I had given to my grandmother.  I bought it for her because It reminded me of the church she attended when she lived here in Illinois (in one of her Illinois homes).snow village 485

I think the blue roofed duplex was my first piece.snow village 470

My church, that I purchased for my collection, is below in the corner.  Yes, that’s a Valentine’s Day house on the far right.  It never seems to get out much, so why not put it out now?snow village 468

Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me in my Snow Village.  I hope you enjoyed my miniature town.

Bye for now!
