I’ve mentioned my Snow Village in a couple of previous posts a little here and showed you Amelia Thimble posing in it here.
Here is a photo of the complete set up. My husband did the entire display this year. Didn’t he do a great job?! As you can see, I don’t have too many pieces, just enough to make it look complete yet manageable, I think.
My husband placed an old bi-fold closet door on top of a desk to make a base which is the perfect size for all of my pieces.
The church on the left is one that I had given to my grandmother. I bought it for her because It reminded me of the church she attended when she lived here in Illinois (in one of her Illinois homes).
I think the blue roofed duplex was my first piece.
My church, that I purchased for my collection, is below in the corner. Yes, that’s a Valentine’s Day house on the far right. It never seems to get out much, so why not put it out now?
Here a shot from above.
My love of flowers shows here with the flower shop and greenhouse.
This snow globe was given to me as part of a Christmas card. It reminded of those blow up snow globes that used to be set up in front yards, so I thought I’d keep it for the Snow Village.
Thank you for stopping by and visiting with me in my Snow Village. I hope you enjoyed my miniature town.
Bye for now!
