Just in case you are in need of some winter cheer, Lucy is here to brighten up your day
As I was taking these outdoor photos of Lucy, I thought of how red cardinals stand out against the white snow just as Lucy stands out against the bare tree branches.
“No, Lucy, the ornament is for the indoor Christmas tree.” Lucy feels a bond with the cardinals because I told her she looks as bright as they do, so she wants to do something nice for them. I told her that we do help them by keeping the feeder full of sunflower seeds. “Oh, good,” Lucy replied.
Keep smiling my happy Little Darling—you surely brighten my day.
By the way, this is my last Christmas ensemble for the Little Darlings and most likely my very last for 2015. Where did the time go?

Love your outdoor pics with Lucy. Adorable dress and did you make her tights? Such a cute outfit you have made.
Thanks, Joy,
The weather has been so nice. I love getting outside for photos without freezing. Yes, I did make her lace tights.
She brightened my morning ! I love your delicate embroideries. In France too the weather is mild, There are still roses in my garden. I wish you a merry Christmas.
Hi Michèle,
The weather HAS BEEN mild. Today it is cold; too cold for outdoor picture taking I found. I can’t believe you still have roses growing, lucky you! Thank you and Merry Christmas to you!
Hi Cindy,
What a beautiful last dress for the year you’ve created for Lucy! She looks gorgeous in the red yarn and the embroidery is SO pretty! I see you don’t have any snow on the ground…are they expecting any for Christmas where you live? I don’t think we’ll see a white Christmas.
It’s time for me to clean my house and get organized for the start of a new year. This year seems to have gone by exceptionally fast!
It has been wonderful seeing your handiwork this year. All the best for you and your dolls in the new year!
Blessings, Jeanne
Hi Jeanne,
Well, I managed to squeeze in one more. My new Linda Macario BJD, Penny, arrived on Monday. I had to make her something; it’s not perfect, but she still looks cute in it. Today it is cold enough to snow, but I don’t know if we’ll be getting any precipitation. We have had a lot of rain lately. Our weather is always a surprise and never boring. I agree that this year has sped by at a rapid pace, it’s kind of scary how fast time goes by. How can we get it to slow down?
Thank you for being a loyal reader and thank you for your friendship and comments (and YOUR blog too, love it). Merry Christmas, Jeanne!
Marvelous little outfit for Lucy! Makes me feel joyful! Pennie
Hi Pennie,
Aww, thank you, that makes me happy! 🙂
