Christmas Making is Progressing

I feel that I am finally getting in the Christmas spirit here in the studio.  How many weeks has it taken for me to seriously get in the spirit?

Right now I have three dolls in their Christmas ensembles all waiting patiently for photos to be taken.  And, speaking of Patience I am working on something for her too.

Here are Gina, Millie, and Sugar all decked out for the holidays.  I originally had Gina in a Santa hat, but this ensemble seemed too dressy for it.  I like the organza bow in her hair much better.  I didn’t have my lighting all set up, so this was taken with the over head florescent lights and a tiny bit of early morning light coming in through the west facing window.  You can get an idea anyway.  I thought they looked cute all together and wanted to show you.

Maybe I’ll get photos taken today and maybe I’ll get sewing on Patience’s dress, or maybe both!

I hope all of you have, or are having (depending on where you live), a wonderful day!

Bye for now!

Your article brings the sunshine in my day! Here, it is very cold and the snow falls at medium altitude, this is a time from December! You are right to prepare the outfit for Christmas, it will soon be here! Your girls are very beautiful, congratulations for this wonderful work!
    Have a good day!
    Warmest regards!

      Hello Catherine,
You had snow already??? I cannot imagine it yet. We still haven’t had a frost, but may get one this weekend. Thank you, Catherine. Hope you have a wonderful weekend despite the cold and snow. Brrr!

Hi Pennie, It won’t be today. If you check my Facebook page daily you will know when this will be available. I don’t have an email list for Puki or Amelia right now.

It’s so fun to hear your enthusiasm! I didn’t realize that Connie Lowe had such a tiny doll.

      Hi Pennie,
BTW, I edited you response as I didn’t think you wanted your email out there for everyone to see. 🙂 Thank you for your sweet comments and enthusiasm. I took photos yesterday, but need to redo. My f-stop was set too low and there are places that are our of focus. 😦 Watch my Facebook page and you won’t miss anything, okay?

Your creations make my day. I really like the longer length sweater sleeves for those colder days. Lovely picture even without special effects lighting.

Hello Joy and thank you! I am so happy you enjoy looking at my photos.

It IS getting cold, isn’t it? We might have a frost this weekend. Bye bye flowers. 😦

      Have a great weekend, Joy!

    Hi Cindy,
I think your girls look so adorable together. It’s nice to see the different sizes together. You inspired me to start on Christmas dresses when I get back home…after I make one last Regency dress. I always seem to run out of time so maybe starting earlier might help….
    Just so sweet,
    Blessings, Jeanne

      Hi Jeanne,
I first did this with the sweater dresses I made last month and liked the group photo too. I rarely have more than one outfit ready to go at a time, but when I do I will take a photo from now on. I agree, it is nice to see the different dolls together.
Even though I started so early I probably won’t get as many Christmas outfits made as I’d like to. Glad I inspired you to start on Christmas things soon.
Hope you’re having a super fun time with your mom and sisters. I have two sisters too… oh, and a mom, just like you. LOL
